WELCOME TO THE NEW BCANS FORUM!
On your first visit to this forum using your User Name and Password, please remember to change your password. Click on the User CP button under the BCANS Discussion Forums title and on the left. Sscroll down to the Edit Email & Password and fill out a new password, only known to you, as the initial password is generic.
It proved too difficult to bring over the existing profiles, so if you wish to have a profile available, please click on the User CP button under the BCANS Discussion Forums title. When the menu opens, move down to Edit Profile and fill out a new profile.
You can control how the forums display the posts, either in threads or by the time they were posted when you choose different options in Edit Options the User CP menu.

Got it Elaine after catching up on sleep. Thanks. It's a gorgeous site with yummy things such as icons, editorial stuff etc. Love it. Congratulations BCANS (Elaine, Roseanne of the gorgeous breasts, and the board)--you've done it again with a modern, easy to navigate, absolutely knock-out, eye-candy site.
Old faithful, Brenda

There is a link on the front page that takes you to the bio pages that were accessed from the old forum. If you want to change them, I think you may have to have your old password.
You can write or edit a profile on this forum. Go to the top of any page and on the dark pink bar, there is a User CP button. Click on that then select edit profile from the list on the left.
Hope this helps, Elaine

Elaine, can now get around in the forum...really don't like the new format much but am able to do it I guess. However, clicked the "remember me" and yet I have to also put in my user ID and password. What good is the "remember me" if it doesn't work?

There are some quirks to the new forum, no question about it. I found that every once in a while I have to re-enter my ID. After a couple of times it should start to remember you. When you leave the forum, don't log out, that makes it sure that you have to re-enter info.
But the payoff is that there is less than one percent of the spam here compared to what we were getting on the old system.
Nothing for free, I guess.

Dear Elaine,
I must be real stupid or is something important missing on the first page?
I can answer posts but I cannot find the info how to post. After password that is the most important information
That is maybe the reason that there are so few posts on the board now.
Where is the basic information how to use the message board?

At the top of each forum, after you leave the main page is a button that say "New Thread". That starts a new topic of conversation or a "new thread".

I just thought I would mention that this forum board does not function properly using the Firefox browser. I couldn't post a reply because none of the buttons showed up. I thought I was going crazy . I kept going into my CP and changing settings. I thought this was the plainest board I had ever seen. ROFLOL. Well, then I had the bright idea to try IE. Well, that solved that problem.
So, to all Firefox users...move over to (yuck) IE!!
