Art of Living Evening Print E-mail
Breast Cancer Action Nova Scotia will be hosting an Art of Living Yoga/Mmeditation/Breathing Session on Wednesday, December 2, 2009.  Come for this restorative evening and learn how to de-stress.  Space is limited to 9 people, so please RSVP as soon as possible.  Time:  7:00 to 8:30pm.  Location:  22-24 Dundas Street, Suite 6, Dartmouth (Seacoast Tower Building at the corner of Portland & Dundas Streets). Bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow. To register call 465-2685.
 
Reason for Hope Fund Raiser Print E-mail

“DAVE CARROLL TOUCHED DOWN FOR THE ANNUAL FUNDRAISER ON NOVEMBER 13th.”  Award winning Halifax based artist Dave Carroll was the featured artist at the 2009 edition of “The Reason for Hope” fundraising concert held at Summer Street Industries,72 Park Street, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Joining Dave was Halifax based entertainer Tony Quinn who lent his unique blend of music and comedy to the evening’s festivities, as well as 2009 Music Nova Scotia Award Nominee and New Glasgow native Mary Stewart.  New Glasgow locals Shaun MacLean and Ross MacVicar rounded out the evening.  The evening featured a silent auction, door prizes and a guitar auction.
